One of Vietnam's best known artists. One of his paintings sold for USD 17,200
at auction in 2005.
Nguyen Thanh Binh graduated from the Hanoi College of Fine Arts in 1972, and later specialized in oil painting at the Gia Dinh National College of Fine Arts in Ho Chi Minh City. Thanh Binh is often known for his works of women and girls in white Ao Dai dresses.
Thanh Binh has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Vietnam, and also in:
